Yoga is a journey, a lifestyle, a practice. Suzanne began her journey in 2004 as a way to adapt to an ever changing environment and calm the mind from unhelpful habits. Suzanne believes healthy life habits are at the base of wellness and she makes a point of speaking about these healthful habits in her teaching.

Suzanne holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Environmental Science from San Francisco State University. In 2012 she graduated Purusha Studio’s 200 hour Teacher Training program and is now a 500 hour RYT and certified Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapy. Suzanne studied and continues to study directly with Joy Ravelli. Other teachers who bring insight and perspective into Suzanne’s mind are Felicia Tomasko, Shakti Gawain, and Anodea Judith. She studies the direct classical tradition of yoga through the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali translated by Swami Satchiananda and the Vedic texts such as The Bhagavad Gita, The Upanishads, and Charaka Samhita (Ayurveda). Suzanne is passionate about blending the worlds of yogic lifestyle and environmental ethics. You will find Suzanne’s teaching to be about bringing the 8 Limb Approach to modern human life. She interprets the texts in an authentic and practical way to follow a blueprint for living life with love, peace, and harmony with the natural world and the self.  

Suzanne teaches group Yin and Hatha Flow. She focuses private Yoga Therapy sessions on healing from allergies, depression, anxiety, excess weight and digestive disorders. She offers Thai Massage and has a customized skin care product line- AnuDerm. Suzanne believes that there is no separating the mind and the body. If the body is metabolizing food effectively and the mind is processing healthy thoughts then life will be full of joy, action, and honor.
